Who we are

Kinetic Edge Health is a physician-led telehealth practice providing performance medicine, metabolic and hormonal health, and longevity-focused care to patients located in the states where our physicians are licensed (currently Ohio, Nebraska, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, and Illinois). This Privacy Policy, together with our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices below, describes how we handle the personal information and protected health information (PHI) we receive when you use our website or become a patient.

For purposes of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Kinetic Edge Health acts as a covered health care provider. We are committed to protecting the privacy of your health information and are required by law to maintain its confidentiality, to provide you with this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices, and to follow the terms of the notice currently in effect.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through kineticedgehealth.com, through our intake and assessment forms, during telehealth consultations, and in the course of providing care. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to, which maintain their own privacy practices.

Information you provide

• Contact and account information — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and state of residence.
• Health information — the medical history, symptoms, goals, medications, and lifestyle information you submit through our intake and assessment forms, and information you share during consultations.
• Laboratory and clinical data — biomarker results from physician-ordered lab panels and any prior records you choose to share.
• Payment information — billing details processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

Information collected automatically

• Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & analytics).

How we use your information

We use your information for treatment, payment, and health care operations, as permitted by HIPAA:

• Treatment — to evaluate your eligibility for care, design and adjust your protocol, order laboratory testing, issue prescriptions where clinically appropriate, and coordinate ongoing care with your physician.
• Payment — to process membership fees and charges for services and products.
• Operations — to operate and improve our practice, communicate with you about your care, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or protected health information. We do not use your PHI for marketing in any way that requires your authorization without first obtaining that authorization.

• Partner laboratory and pharmacy providers — to fulfill physician-ordered testing and prescriptions. These partners receive only the information needed to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
