Effective May 2026 · The nature, benefits, and limitations of telehealth care
Telehealth is the delivery of health care using secure electronic communication, including live audio and video consultations, rather than an in-person office visit. Kinetic Edge Health provides care to patients located in the states where our physicians are licensed (currently Ohio, Nebraska, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, and Illinois). This page explains what to expect so you can make an informed decision about receiving care this way.
We do not prescribe based on an online questionnaire alone. Before any prescription is issued, you complete a clinical intake, your physician reviews your history and laboratory results, and you have a live video or phone consultation with your physician. Your physician determines which protocol, if any, is appropriate for you. Submitting an intake form or paying a membership fee does not guarantee that any medication will be prescribed.
Telehealth has limitations you should understand:
Any prescription is issued solely at the independent clinical judgment of your physician. Some medications we prescribe are compounded and prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Your physician will discuss the risks and benefits relevant to you before you begin.
Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Your information is protected as described in our Privacy Policy & HIPAA Notice. We use secure systems for consultations and communications.
What you see here is an informational overview of how telehealth works at Kinetic Edge Health. It is not the full legal consent. During onboarding, you will receive and sign a separate, more extensive Telehealth Informed Consent and Patient Agreement. Once executed, that document is the legal instrument that establishes the physician-patient relationship; it covers items in more detail than this page (including HIPAA authorization, treatment-specific risks, scope of care, communication and emergency protocols, financial responsibility, and your rights as a patient).
We do not publish the full consent on the website. It is delivered to you during onboarding so you have time to read it carefully and ask questions before signing.
Participation in telehealth is voluntary. You may withdraw your consent or discontinue care at any time without affecting your right to seek care elsewhere.
